With the Pass Loire à Vélo, discover the Loire à Vélo on an all-inclusive trip between Tours and Orléans!
Choose the duration of your Pass—2, 3, 4, or 5 days—based on your travel plans, and plan your itinerary at your own pace.
Your Pass includes:
- Rental of a regular bicycle with a helmet (electric-assist bicycles available for an additional fee—see “Practical Information” below)
- One lunch per 24-hour period and snacks at partner establishments
- Access to the Loire Valley’s most famous sites: Chambord, Chenonceau, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Amboise, Clos Lucé, Chaumont-sur-Loire… as well as numerous museums, gardens, and guided tours
- Tastings of Loire Valley wines and local specialties
- More than 60 special discounts and benefits at restaurants, tourist attractions, recreational activities, food shops, and partner businesses along the entire route.

Upon presentation of the Pass, you can also enjoy benefits and discounts at major attractions, restaurants, hotels, wineries, food shops, and recreational activities.

Where can I buy it?
Online at Tours City Pass, on the Tours City Pass app, or at the tourist information offices in Tours and Orléans
How does it work?
1. I choose my Pass: 2, 3, 4, or 5 days, depending on the length of your stay.
2. I reserve my bike with a partner rental company in Tours, Blois, Amboise, or Orléans (reservations are recommended 48 hours in advance during peak periods).
3. I activate my Pass the first time I use the service. The duration of my Pass begins at that moment.
4. I can freely enjoy the tours, meals, tastings, and perks for the entire duration of my Pass.
5. When my Pass expires, I return my bike to the same location where I picked it up, in one of the four partner cities.
Where can I rent a bike?
To make your trip easier, you can pick up and drop off bikes in four major cities along the route at Détours de Loire and Roue Lib rental locations. The bike must be dropped off at the same location where it was picked up.

Practical information
- The Pass includes the rental of a regular bicycle and a helmet.
- You can rent an e-bike (by reservation) for an additional fee to be paid directly to the rental company (2 days: +€25 / 3 days: +€35 / 4 days: +€55 / 5 days: +€75). The same applies to accessories or specific insurance coverage.
- A credit card deposit is required when renting a bike: €500 for a regular bike and up to €1,400 for an electric bike.
- Each benefit can be used only once per partner.
- Lunches are included at a rate of one meal per 24-hour period: 2, 3, 4, or 5, depending on the duration of the Pass.
- Snacks and tastings can be enjoyed at your convenience at participating establishments, limited to one visit per establishment.
